BIOGRAPHY

Joelle has a higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management and currently works as a commercial and marketing assistant. Her future ambition is to become a commercial director of a well known hotel chain. Hobbies include: painting, volleyball, tennis, cycling and watching Disney movies. Joelle’s personal motto is: ‘Always believe in yourself and never consider failure as an option.’

Tell us a little something about your Country ?

Geographically speaking, Mauritius is a dot on the globe. It is filled with many coastal wonders and the heart of its people is as big and infinite as the universe.

Future ambitions ?

I aspire to become a Commercial Director of a well known hotel chain. I want to complete a Master degree in the commercial sector and eventually get married and have children.

Describe yourself

I am someone who always remains true to myself. I have faith in life and myself. My greatest motivation in life is my family.

Personal Motto?

Always believe in yourself and never consider failure to be an option.

Favourite food ?

My favourite meal is chicken curry with farata and all the plates prepared b y Vincent Deforce.

Favourite Music / Books ?

My favourite song is ‘You Raise Me Up’ by Westlife. I like pop music, sega and slow songs. My favourite books are ‘The Power of Now’, ‘Autobiographie D’un Epouvantail’, ‘La Couleur Des Sentiments’.

What is the proudest moment of your life or most memorable day?

My most memorable day was the day I obtained my school certificate results; I was congratulated by my School Director before a large audience. I saw my Mother crying with joy and pride.

Special Talents ?

I am an eloquent public speaker and enjoy painting.

I can dance the Mauritian national dance, sega.
